Wilbur

Wilbur is one of the main characters in Charlotte's Web. He is the best friend of Charlotte and Fern. Even

though Wilbur overcame a great deal as the runt of the litter, He made it as some pig. He has rival named Uncle.

In The Book

Wilbur was born the runt of his litter on the Arable Farm. His mother only had enough milk for ten hungry piglets. Poor Wilbur struggled to feed while his brothers and sisters ate greedily. John Arable who noticed the runt piglet decided to put him down. John's eight year daughter Fern begged for the tiny pig's life. John agrees and gives the runt to Fern. Fern keeps it as a pet naming him Wilbur. After a month, John convinces Fern to sell Wilbur. Wilbur is sold to Homer Zuckerman who bought Wilbur for six dollars. Wilbur meets Charlotte A Cavatica a grey spider and becomes her friend. With the help of Charlotte Wilbur life is saved from death. Sadly Charlotte dies and three of her 514 children stay and live with Wilbur.

In The Films

Wilbur is the runt of his litter. He was saved by Fern and raised like a pet, He was sold to Zuckerman and meets Charlotte. Charlotte saved his life and he becomes famous. Wilbur lives with Charlotte's children on the Zuckerman Farm. He is voiced by the late Henry Gibson in the cartoon film and Dominic Scott Key in the live action film.
